“There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy.”
For Me – “The more grateful I am, the more beauty I see.”
Let’s take a look and see what Merriam Webster says about gratitude. Merriam-Webster States that Gratitude is the state of being grateful. So this pushed me over to Merriam-Webster again to define grateful. Grateful is defined as expressing gratitude or to be appreciative of benefits received. Looks like I might be stuck in a little loop here. Grateful is expressing gratitude and gratitude is being grateful. Hmmm This is a puzzle that each of us must unwind in our own particular way.
I’m grateful to be here and I would like to express my gratitude to Ernest Holmes for this teaching. I am expressing my gratitude by speaking with you using the principles of Science of Mind
“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.”
And thinking deeply upon this leads us to where we conclude that “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.”
Let’s see if we can get to the root of what Ernest Holmes was saying/
Pray without ceasing. Remember what you think about comes about so always be on the affirmative side of life. To pray without ceasing is to never ever doubt (not even in that way far back corner of your mind). It is to always trust in the law of good.
So Always be on the brighter side of life. Always be on the affirmative. Always trust in the Good. Always be Grateful, Always. After all, what you think about comes about.
Dr. Holmes States further states:
This connection is essential to the soul and natural to the mind. It is constant recognition of our relationship to the present in which we live and move and have our being. In everything, give thanks.
I Repeat – In Everything Give Thanks.
An attitude of gratitude produces so many beneficial effects. It leads us to the realization that we are now in heaven. Welcome!
How we love to do for those who cooperate with, and are grateful for, our small endeavors! Gratitude is one of the chief Graces of human existence.
“Gratitude for the present moment and the fullness of life now is true prosperity.”
Speak your words in gratitude. Remembering always that “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.”
