Preparation, Affirmation, and Waiting

A definition from the Science of Mind text –  Affirmation: To affirm anything is to state that it is so and to maintain this as being true in the face of all evidence to the contrary. Human thought can only affirm. Any denial is affirming the presence of that which it denies! Repeating an affirmation is leading the mind to that State of Consciousness where it accepts that which it wishes to believe.

Faith gives Prayer power. Strong faith is part of a mental attitude against which there is no longer any contradiction in the mind that entertains it. Pure Faith is absolute belief. Unfortunately for many fear sneaks in.  Fear that one will lose possessions or health or something else. This fear is diluting your prayer and power.

Pure Faith is a mental attitude which is so convinced of its own idea – Which the mind so completely accepts – that any contradiction or denial is Unthinkable and impossible. With such a mental attitude your prayer and affirmations are incredible.

We must we have complete faith in spirit, and its ability to know and to do. We must have complete confidence in our prayers and affirmations. We must not be lukewarm in our conviction. We must know that we know. We must have absolute confidence.

There is power in this word that I speak, because it is of the truth and it is the truth. There is perfect and continuous right action in my life and in my affairs. All belief in wrong action is dispelled and vanishes. Right action alone has power and right action is power and power is God =  the Living spirit Almighty.

And So It Is
